Scarlett Plus Size Boutique in Charlotte, NC
This weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Scarlett, a plus size boutique in Charlotte, NC. I was greeted warmly by the owner and creator of the boutique, Todd Albaum. Immediately, he made a point of finding out what I was looking for and whisking me around the boutique, expertly pulling garments to suit me. I ended up trying on some fantastic clothes, none of which I had seen at any of the local department stores. Designer labels I spotted included Donna Ricco, Tadashi, Linda Lundstrom, and James Clifford. The service was wonderful, and I bought an adorable new dress that I couldn't find anywhere else. I'll definitely be back!

I had a terrible shopping experience, he said I would get discounts and when I went to the cash register to pay, whoa is me. What the heck. It was more than he promised. I tried to back out of course, I don't make that kind of money and he insisted since it was rung up he could do nothing. In addition the zipper split two weeks later on my pants and he would not return them and tried to have me exchange them for something of lesser value on sale. I will never go back here.
I had a terrible experience with this store, not only did the pants not fit, the owner gave me so much trouble returning them. He often refers to large women as cows and is such a fake that people just don't realize what damage they have done till they get to the register. I understand he is deep in debt and about to loose his house and business. Just another sour businesss in Charlotte. I would not recommend shopping here unless you want to loose your wallet with garbage clothing.
